Super-smooth n simple cantaloupe/avocado/basil smoothie

DSC00002DSC00003Blend half an avocado and cantaloupe chunks with chopped basil and a little water. Amazingly creamy and satisfying! Not too sweet–add a little salt if you want to bring out the flavors, and garnish with a sprig of basil. ¬†Throw in some ground flaxseed for texture and nutrition. This works as a summer soup or a smoothie. Unexpected flavors and textures revive the palate; electrolytes refresh the body. Just lovely all the way around.
